Senior CI Specialist

CSL Behring Vifor seeks a Senior CI Specialist to lead continuous improvement and COS initiatives for the Value Stream Bulk in EMEA/CH, driving operational excellence and performance optimization.

This position serves as the primary subject matter expert for Continuous Improvement and the CSL Operating System within the Value Stream Bulk. Reporting to the Senior Director of Value Stream Bulk, the specialist is responsible for shaping future performance by advancing operational standards and leading strategic improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the rollout and ongoing enhancement of the CSL Operating System across the Value Stream Bulk.
• Create, oversee, and execute the continuous improvement roadmap, covering project selection, business case creation, prioritization, milestone scheduling, benefit tracking, and reporting.
• Spot and execute improvement opportunities to boost compliance, quality, efficiency, delivery, and process reliability.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, Lean/Six Sigma projects, structured problem-solving workshops, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Manage KPI governance and performance through COS-based reporting, dashboards, visual management, and regular performance reviews.
• Analyze trends and convert performance insights into prioritized improvement actions.
• Maintain transparency, standardization, and data integrity in performance reporting aligned with CSL standards and business goals.
• Track and communicate the impact of improvement initiatives via KPI improvements and benefit realization.
• Lead process optimization, standardization, and digitalization efforts in manufacturing and support functions.
• Coach leaders and staff in Lean Thinking, Operational Excellence, Visual Management, and structured problem solving.
• Act as a change agent to promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Ensure timely, budget-compliant implementation of improvement initiatives with sustainable results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience in a GMP-regulated environment may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Quality.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt required.
• Business-fluent in German and English.

Nice to have

• Lean/Kaizen and Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
