SIX Group seeks a Lead Application Developer in Olten to design and maintain scalable web and core systems for its Post-Trading business, requiring strong Java, Spring Boot, and Angular expertise.
This position sits within the Application Development Team supporting SIX's Post-Trading division. The primary objective involves engineering robust, scalable web applications and core infrastructure while modernizing legacy enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct scalable web and core systems for the Post-Trading division, emphasizing solid architecture and efficient execution.
- Update and sustain current enterprise applications alongside web services.
- Partner with Product Owners and Architects to outline solutions and keep technical documentation current.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, guarantee security and regulatory adherence, and mentor development teams.
- Drive automation across development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, and encourage transparent team communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in designing, building, and sustaining enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Java (OpenJDK), Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Practical experience with OpenShift, GitLab, Ansible, Tomcat, and WildFly.
- Direct experience managing relational databases.
- Capacity to guide development teams technically while serving as a hands-on lead developer.
- Understanding of secure coding standards and web security fundamentals.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of German and/or Spanish languages.
