Skyguide seeks a senior instructor to lead APS and ADC ATCO training, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering high-quality education in classroom and simulation settings.
This position focuses on the comprehensive management of aviation training courses, requiring deep expertise in air traffic control regulations. The instructor will serve as a key representative for Skyguide and its Academy in international working groups, while collaborating closely with internal teams to maintain high standards of training excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of course planning, administrative tasks, and ongoing assessment of student progress.
- Verify that all instructional materials and training modules strictly meet current regulatory standards.
- Develop, design, and present educational content for both traditional classroom sessions and simulation-based exercises.
- Provide technical and pedagogical support to colleagues and other departments regarding training development.
- Represent the organization in international project groups and working teams as required.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience as a licensed Air Traffic Controller covering both Aerodrome Control (ADC) and Approach Control (APS) domains.
- Possession of a valid On-the-Job-Training (OJTI) or Simulation Instructor (STDI) license endorsement.
- Demonstrated English Language Proficiency at Level 4 or above.
Nice to have
- Holding additional validation endorsements beyond the core licenses.
- An EASA ATCO license issued in compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340.
- Possession of a Classroom Instructor Certificate and/or an Examiner or Assessor Certificate.
