CAMO Engineer / Training Coordinator

Dufour Aerospace AG seeks a Senior CAMO Engineer and Training Coordinator in Dübendorf to manage fleet maintenance, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop training materials for UAV operations.

The company is developing next-generation unmanned aerial vehicles and requires a specialist to oversee configuration tracking, safety protocols, and regulatory adherence. This role bridges engineering, safety, and operations teams to ensure fleet readiness and compliance with aviation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and keep current training resources for maintenance staff, ground crews, and pilots.
• Organize and schedule internal and external training sessions to maintain fleet operational status.
• Verify that all training initiatives meet EASA Regulation (EU) 2019/945 and other applicable aviation rules.
• Perform CAMO duties for the active fleet to uphold safety, legal compliance, and dispatch reliability.
• Write, maintain, and update the Aircraft Maintenance Program using engineering data and reliability metrics.
• Review fleet maintenance records to spot trends and report findings to engineering and production departments.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with flight operations to minimize aircraft downtime.
• Collaborate with supply chain and project managers to secure design data, tooling, parts, and staff for maintenance tasks.
• Help engineering and flight operations teams refine the Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Airplane Flight Manual.
• Integrate practical feedback from maintenance operations into manual updates and new design iterations.

Requirements

• A degree in Aerospace Engineering, an EASA Part-66 Maintenance License, or equivalent aviation operations experience.
• Thorough knowledge of EASA Rules for Air Operations and/or Continuing Airworthiness.
• Demonstrated experience in aviation configuration management, change control, and technical record keeping.
• Strong technical writing skills to convert complex engineering data into clear, compliant documentation.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with technical and operational teams.
• A passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and continuous learning.
