Medtronic seeks a Mid-level Assembler II in Lausanne to handle production assembly, quality checks, and prototype testing within a global healthcare technology leader.
This position supports Medtronic’s mission to alleviate pain and extend life by ensuring the precise assembly and quality of medical devices. The role involves executing production tasks, verifying product integrity, and assisting with prototype development to help improve patient outcomes worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Execute diverse production assembly tasks, including both repetitive and non-repetitive operations.
- Utilize visual aids, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions to guide assembly work.
- Prepare products by setting initial layouts and employing various tools as needed.
- Perform continuity checks on work-in-progress items and finished goods.
- Conduct quality inspections on the processing line to ensure compliance with established specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions.
Requirements
- Possess broad knowledge of operational systems and practices, typically acquired through prior work experience or education.
- Have a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Hold vocational or technical education or certification, in addition to prior work experience, if required.
