Automation Assembly Technician

Evatec seeks an Automation Assembly Technician to assemble advanced semiconductor equipment, combining precise mechanical work with technical system analysis in a collaborative onsite role.

This position focuses on the assembly of sophisticated machinery for the semiconductor sector. The role requires blending hands-on technical assembly with a deep understanding of system mechanics, working closely alongside engineering, development, and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment quality and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Construct complex production units and precision components based on technical drawings, parts lists, and specifications.
• Identify mechanical or system discrepancies and apply necessary corrective measures.
• Operate at the intersection of mechanical systems, automation, and process technologies.
• Assist engineering and development teams in diagnosing and solving technical challenges.
• Provide practical insights from the assembly floor to support ongoing equipment improvements.

Requirements

• Vocational training in mechanics, polymechanics, automation, or a similar discipline.
• Prior experience in equipment or machine engineering.
• Basic English proficiency to read and understand technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with vacuum technology, pneumatics, or mechatronics.
