Bühlergroup seeks a Mid-level Electro Mechanical Technician in Cary, CH, to maintain and repair production equipment, facility infrastructure, and related systems.
The Electro Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functionality of manufacturing equipment and overseeing necessary repairs. This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of assets, including production machinery, vehicles, HVAC systems, and building security infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot various types of production equipment.
- Identify and implement cost-effective repair solutions for machinery.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage inventory levels for maintenance spare parts.
- Support the installation of new machinery and the relocation of existing assets.
- Perform maintenance tasks on buildings, grounds, and general facility infrastructure.
- Liaise with external vendors to procure repair goods and services.
- Ensure all work meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Operate equipment and complete tasks in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain productivity levels consistent with company expectations.
Requirements
- Vocational training in blueprint reading, basic machining, and quality control.
- Demonstrated strong skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- At least five years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Minimum of two years of vocational training.
- A valid North Carolina driver's license.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hats, safety shoes, and glasses.
