AurigaVision AG seeks an Associate Director for International Medical Affairs in Zug, CH, focusing on Allergology, Hematology, and Oncology. This senior, on-site contract role involves leading medical programs, scientific communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting to the VP Head of International Medical Affairs, this position drives medical affairs operations, scientific communication, and cross-functional initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas. The role provides a chance to lead impactful medical projects within a dynamic and highly collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee medical affairs programs, scientific activities, and operational workflows while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Develop and execute medical education programs, congress participation, symposia, and broader scientific communication strategies.
- Coordinate medical strategies with cross-functional teams, aligning with communications and commercial goals.
- Manage Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects and serve as the international point of contact for R&D development activities.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and external partners to foster scientific engagement.
- Partner with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations teams to evaluate and support clinical programs and investigator-initiated studies.
- Stay current with scientific advancements and contribute to internal training, advisory boards, meetings, and congress representation.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (PhD or MD) combined with substantial experience in medical affairs within the biopharmaceutical sector.
- Proven track record in cross-functional project management within complex, matrixed environments.
- Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle, medical frameworks, and specific requirements in Allergology, Hematology, and Oncology.
- Exceptional scientific communication abilities, with a knack for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience in supporting product launches and working closely with global or regional medical and commercial teams.
- High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the capacity to navigate complexity and shifting priorities effectively.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
