Associate Director of Risk Analytics - EMEA, Commercial Risk

Aon Switzerland seeks an Associate Director of Risk Analytics for its EMEA Commercial Risk team in Zürich. The role focuses on integrating advanced analytics into broking services and driving strategic development.

This position sits within the Risk Capital Analytics team, reporting directly to the Head of Risk Analytics for Commercial Risk in EMEA. The primary objective is to shape the future of Commercial Risk Broking and Consulting by embedding sophisticated analytical methods into client-facing products and services.

Responsibilities

• Integrate advanced analytical techniques into broking offerings to improve client support and service delivery.
• Work closely with Senior Directors and regional analytics leaders to strengthen risk analytics capabilities throughout the EMEA region.
• Articulate the unique value and differentiation of risk analytics solutions to guide the creation of new tools and platforms.
• Identify and deliver effective training programs for analytics tools, ensuring they are engaging and relevant to users.
• Contribute to projects that define the Risk Analytics strategy and influence the overall Commercial Risk proposition.
• Provide technical instruction, support oral presentations, and assist with written responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Support marketing initiatives, major events, and symposia to enhance Aon’s reputation for excellence in analytics.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional experience within the reinsurance or insurance sector.
• Deep understanding of insurance principles, risk quantification methods, and risk finance decision-making processes.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in public speaking.
• Proven project management, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
• Solid sales and marketing expertise.
• Native-level or highly professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• A Master’s degree in business or science, or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior background in broking or risk analytics.
• Proficiency in additional European languages besides English.
