Associate Director Senior Study Lead - Single Sponsor Dedicated (home-based)

IQVIA AG seeks an Associate Director Senior Study Lead for a remote role in Switzerland. This senior position involves overseeing clinical trials from start to finish within a global matrix environment.

The company is looking for a senior leader to direct cross-functional clinical trial teams and manage assigned studies from initiation through completion. This role aims to drive operational excellence via process improvements and to cultivate a supportive, psychologically safe culture capable of thriving in a complex matrix structure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical studies by guiding strategic planning and making key decisions at the study level.
• Serve as the product owner for the clinical trial team, adhering to agile methodologies with clear accountability.
• Participate actively in the broader Clinical Operations community to share best practices.
• Champion operational excellence by collaborating on the development of global protocols, study reports, and related documentation.
• Manage budget allocations and assign personnel resources across assigned studies.
• Lead virtual teams and focus on building team capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a clinically relevant field.
• At least four years of recent experience in clinical research or drug development within industry or academic settings, covering Phases I to IV.
• Minimum of three years of recent hands-on involvement in conducting standard to high-complexity clinical studies.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare.
• Experience managing global teams within a complex matrix organization.
