IQVIA AG seeks an Associate Director Senior Study Lead for a remote, home-based role in Switzerland. The position involves leading cross-functional clinical trial teams, managing study budgets, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

The company is looking for a senior professional to lead cross-functional clinical trial teams, overseeing the planning and execution of clinical studies from start to finish. This role requires proactive operational planning, effective risk management, and the ability to manage budgets and personnel allocation within a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and delivery of clinical studies, providing guidance on planning and decision-making at the study level.
  • Serve as the product owner for the clinical trial team, adhering to agile methodologies with clear responsibilities.
  • Participate actively in the Clinical Operations community within the study leadership organization.
  • Drive operational excellence in the development of global clinical study protocols, reports, and related documents.
  • Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of protocols, informed consent forms, monitoring plans, and clinical study reports.
  • Manage study budgets efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Implement proactive, iterative operational planning with robust contingencies and a strong risk management approach.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a clinically relevant field.
  • Possess at least 4 years of recent experience in clinical research or drug development, covering Phases I through IV in academic or industry settings.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in planning, executing, reporting, and publishing clinical studies of standard to high complexity in a global or matrix environment, with expert knowledge of GCP/ICH standards and health authorities like FDA/EMA.
  • Demonstrate fluent oral and written English skills.

  • Strong track record in developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
