The company is looking for a professional to join a newly formed group responsible for the automation and control systems of advanced assembly and labelling equipment for the pharmaceutical sector. This position covers the entire lifecycle from initial concept to final implementation, allowing the successful candidate to influence the development of future high-tech packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop innovative automation and control software.
- Evaluate complex project needs and conduct technical feasibility studies for full machines or specific features.
- Write and deploy new software solutions, including the commissioning phase.
- Maintain and standardize software concepts in collaboration with team members.
- Work closely with the design department during the concept and development stages.
- Oversee automation aspects within development projects.
Requirements
- A completed degree in electrical engineering, automation, systems engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming.
- Proficiency in Java and structured text as high-level languages.
- Professional background in industrial automation within the mechanical engineering sector.
- Fluent communication abilities in both German and English, at least at the B2 level.

- Experience with B&R systems.
- Knowledge of HMI systems, vision technology, and safety concepts.
