LGT Capital Partners AG seeks a Business Analyst/Product Owner to lead data platform initiatives for liquid markets in Pfäffikon. This hybrid role requires strong financial and analytical expertise.

Positioned within the Liquid Middle Office team of a globally recognized alternative investment manager, this role is central to the firm’s enterprise data strategy. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business needs with technical execution to advance the liquid markets data platform. The position involves steering projects from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring that data solutions are scalable, sustainable, and effectively adopted across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main business partner for liquid markets teams, providing expert guidance on the enterprise data platform.
  • Convert business requirements into robust data solutions by collaborating closely with technology and data specialists.
  • Manage end-to-end change initiatives, covering requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and final deployment.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and contribute domain expertise to broader strategic transformation efforts.
  • Assist data management and IT groups in improving data quality controls and handling daily operational incidents.
  • Engage hands-on in data projects, moving from initial idea generation and proof-of-concept to training and handover.
  • Empower business units to leverage the data platform for enhanced process quality and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in business analysis, change management, or technology projects within financial services, asset management, or consulting.
  • Strong grasp of financial markets, investment products, and asset management workflows.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse architectures, analytics tools, or enterprise data platform solutions.
  • Proven track record in business analysis and working effectively with interdisciplinary IT and business teams.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to take ownership and operate independently in a dynamic setting.
  • Collaborative and resilient demeanor, comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.

  • Prior exposure to alternative investments is considered an advantage.
  • Interest and some experience using AI tools to boost productivity, data analysis, or business processes.
