Axpo seeks a Business Analyst in Zürich to manage invoicing for Full Supply and PPA business, optimize processes, and support strategic projects within a collaborative team.
This position focuses on supporting invoicing workflows for Full Supply and PPA activities while contributing to daily operations and impactful projects. The role requires coordinating with various internal teams to ensure smooth contract onboarding and process efficiency in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with invoicing procedures for Full Supply and PPA portfolios.
- Liaise with Market Operations, Front Office Services, and Front Office to facilitate seamless contract integration into internal systems.
- Minimize operational risks and boost efficiency by executing strategic decisions within Back Office Services and Business Support.
- Lead or support individual business transformation initiatives and strategic projects.
- Examine processes, address complex P&L questions, and solve operational issues to guarantee smooth daily delivery.
- Work on IT specifications and oversee IT changes for Back Office Services.
- Promote automation, quality enhancements, and lead-time reductions through technical skills.
- Create and maintain management reporting tools, such as KPI reports, and assist in the design and development of the invoicing system.
- Track audit findings to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Requirements
- A degree in Business Management or Information Technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy trading and sales.
- Business-level proficiency in English (C1/C2).
- Deep understanding of energy and financial markets.
- Strong expertise in managing the deal lifecycle for Full Supply and PPA business.
- Competence in data analysis and coding.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of additional European languages.
- Experience with ETL development tools.
