Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic outbound campaigns, including executive networking, thought leadership, and direct outreach to heads of Regulatory Affairs, CMC, and Clinical Operations.
  • Evaluate and prioritize leads to match Scribe’s capabilities with client needs regarding submission schedules, automation goals, and compliance targets.
  • Lead discovery sessions with VP and Head-level stakeholders in Quality, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to uncover bottlenecks in submission processes and authoring workflows.
  • Create customized proposals and presentations that illustrate how Scribe speeds up the production of documents like CTD modules, CSRs, APQRs, and GVDs while keeping human experts in control.
  • Partner with delivery and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding, template configuration, and integration with client data systems, focusing on measurable efficiency gains.
  • Stay current with regulatory landscapes, including FDA and EMA guidance updates, AI-assisted workflow trends, and competitor activities in regulatory technology.
  • Mentor junior business development staff to build their commercial skills and domain knowledge in Life Sciences regulatory affairs.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration among sales, marketing, and delivery teams to enhance client impact and expand Scribe’s market presence.
  • Set performance targets, monitor pipeline health, and provide market insights to refine team effectiveness and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in business development, client engagement, or strategic consulting within the Life Sciences industry, with hands-on exposure to regulatory, quality, or clinical areas.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring enterprise clients and driving revenue growth in complex, regulated sectors, preferably with experience selling software, AI, or tech solutions to regulatory or quality teams.
  • Solid grasp of regulatory submission processes, key document types (CTD, CSR, APQR, GVD), and compliance frameworks (FDA, EMA, GxP).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities, with experience engaging VP and C-level executives in regulated environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking capabilities, and a results-driven approach, comfortable working in a fast-growing, product-led organization.
