Business Development Executive

Debrunner Koenig Group seeks a Business Development Executive to drive growth in UK Energy, Defence, and Marine sectors through market research, tender support, and digital sales initiatives.

This position is located within the UK and focuses on expanding the company's presence in key industries such as Energy, Defence, and Marine. The role involves collaborating with the Business Development Management team to identify opportunities, manage project pipelines, and achieve commercial targets while supporting sales efforts through digital channels and central enquiry handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Business Development Management team in penetrating and growing market share within the Energy, Defence, and Marine sectors.
• Handle incoming central enquiries and provide necessary support to convert leads.
• Track relevant projects using a centralized project management tool to ensure visibility and progress.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to manage project pipelines and identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research on agreed sectors to support strategic planning and sales development.
• Support the development of the company's position in nominated sectors, aiming to enhance current sales and gross margin.
• Provide quotation and tender support, including sourcing suppliers where applicable.
• Maintain accurate customer database records, reports, and market sector knowledge within the KliCC CRM system.
• Support and develop sales activities via digital channels.
• Manage contract accounts as required.
