Jet Aviation seeks a Cabin Installer in Maerstetten to craft high-end aircraft interiors. The role involves installing cabin components while adhering to strict aviation safety and quality standards.
This position sits within the Completions division, where the team designs and builds custom, luxury aircraft interiors. As the company expands its workforce in Basel, this role contributes to a growing talent pool with opportunities extending into 2026 and 2027.
Responsibilities
- Fit, adjust, and fix cabin elements like seats, panels, cabinets, and valences inside the aircraft.
- Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to ensure installations meet customer expectations and regulatory rules.
- Adhere to rigorous safety, quality, and airworthiness protocols, including Part 145 regulations and internal procedures.
- Install diverse cabin features such as ceiling panels, floorboards, window shades, soundproofing, air conditioning units, and décor.
- Contribute to process improvements that minimize rework and boost overall build efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Hold a completed cabinet maker apprenticeship or possess an equivalent technical background.
- Have a minimum of three years of experience in the aviation sector, preferably in cabin outfitting or interior installation.
- Demonstrate the ability to read technical drawings and utilize 3D models for work guidance.
- Show proficiency in using tools and handling aeronautical materials.
- Understand Part 145 requirements and standard aircraft working practices.
- Exhibit a quality-focused, detail-oriented mindset with strong teamwork skills.
- Be flexible, reliable, hands-on, and committed to safety protocols.
