Swiss Re seeks a Carrier Operations & Process Analyst in Zürich for a hybrid role (80-100%). The position focuses on optimizing carrier finance processes through automation and AI-driven improvements.
The company is looking for a professional to enhance global carrier finance operations by identifying automation opportunities and implementing AI-driven solutions. This role involves contributing to transformation initiatives to ensure process consistency and developing more efficient ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current carrier finance workflows to pinpoint areas for automation and assist in designing standardized, AI-enhanced solutions.
- Lead and participate in automation projects that translate identified opportunities into scalable improvements, reducing manual tasks and boosting efficiency.
- Support strategic initiatives by conducting analysis, aiding implementation, and monitoring progress against key milestones.
- Work with senior stakeholders to create data-driven materials that facilitate informed decision-making.
- Coordinate regional and global Carrier Management activities, including preparing materials, facilitating meetings, and supporting training efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance, consulting, finance operations, or a related engineering or technology discipline.
- Prior experience in the (re)insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven hands-on experience in automation initiatives, including identifying opportunities and supporting implementation.
- Fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- German language skills are strongly recommended.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards or relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Experience or strong interest in AI or digital transformation initiatives within a finance or operations context.
- Experience with financial systems or data tools.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
What the company offers
- Base salary range between 98,000 CHF and 146,000 CHF for a full-time role.
- Eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
- Hybrid work model with expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.
