The company seeks a Category Manager for Robotics to develop procurement strategies and optimize supply chains within a healthcare setting. The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and proficiency in SAP MM and German/English communication.
This position supports the organization's corporate strategy by generating value for patients and society. The specialist will oversee the full strategic lifecycle of assigned procurement categories, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute category strategies while managing assigned procurement areas from start to finish.
- Analyze spending patterns, market trends, supplier performance, and demand to uncover cost reduction and optimization opportunities using data.
- Build and update KPI dashboards, benchmarks, and business cases to enable data-backed decisions.
- Standardize products, specifications, and data structures to drive process improvements and harmonization.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives, chair stakeholder committees, and partner with Procurement, hospital teams, Supply Chain Management, and other business units.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, plus formal training in Strategic Procurement and Category Management.
- Minimum five years of Category Management experience, preferably in healthcare or a highly regulated sector.
- Strong analytical background with expertise in spend analytics, KPI tracking, statistics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, build consensus across diverse groups, and present confidently to executive leadership.
- Structured, self-motivated, and solution-focused approach; proficient in SAP MM and Microsoft Office; commercial mindset with strong project management and communication skills in German and English.
