Hilobyaktiia seeks a Chief Medical Officer in Neuchâtel to lead clinical strategy, drive product innovation, and oversee US market entry for its blood pressure management technology.

The Chief Medical Officer serves as the highest medical authority within the organization, reporting directly to the CEO. This role acts as the critical link between clinical excellence, product development, and commercial goals, ensuring that medical insights shape innovative and safe solutions for the healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize clinical use cases that offer both medical value and commercial viability.
  • Direct product development efforts and promote the adoption of the company’s technology throughout the healthcare sector.
  • Collaborate with science and product teams to convert medical expertise into practical, safe, and innovative tools.
  • Partner with the VP of Regulatory & Quality to guarantee compliance with all clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop the clinical research agenda and evidence strategy to facilitate market access, reimbursement, and adoption.
  • Share ownership of the medical strategy for entering the US market.
  • Act as the external clinical advocate to build trust and interest among regulators, investors, and healthcare providers.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in Europe and North America.
  • Represent the firm at medical conferences, regulatory forums, and partnership negotiations.
  • Encourage traditional physician communities to embrace new technological approaches.

Requirements

  • A valid Medical Degree.
  • Senior leadership experience in healthtech, medtech, academic medical centers, or consulting.
  • Background in entrepreneurial or scale-up environments.
  • Extensive clinical experience managing patients with hypertension or cardiovascular conditions.
  • A strong existing network of KOLs in Europe.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with technical, scientific, and regulatory teams.
  • A proven track record in clinical research and academic publication.

Nice to have

  • Specialization in Cardiology or Nephrology.
  • A PhD degree.
  • Connections or experience in the US market.
  • Commercial acumen with an understanding of market access and partnerships.
