CI/CD & Developer Support Engineer (w/m)

Ärztekasse seeks a Mid-level CI/CD & Developer Support Engineer in Thônex to design automation pipelines and enhance developer experience during a major datacenter transformation.

As the company undergoes a comprehensive datacenter renewal, this position plays a key role in supporting that digital transformation. The engineer will contribute creative solutions to streamline software delivery and improve the overall development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure rapid and dependable software releases.
• Assist engineering teams with automating build, testing, and release processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code and GitOps standards across all operational environments.
• Build and maintain self-service tools and platforms for internal developers.
• Embed security checks and quality assurance gates within the delivery workflow.
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose and resolve issues related to builds, pipelines, and deployments.
• Focus on enhancing developer productivity, system reliability, and overall user experience.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Practical knowledge of pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo, or Flux.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, ideally using Bash, Go, or Python.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based build and deployment workflows.
• Understanding of artifact management, testing protocols, and release strategies.
• A service-oriented approach focused on supporting development teams.
• Strong communication abilities in English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German and French languages.
