Consultant

IQVIA AG seeks a Consultant with 6+ years in life sciences to lead projects, conduct research, and deliver strategic insights for pharmaceutical clients across Switzerland.

This position supports the development of timely, high-quality solutions for clients in the pharmaceutical sector. The role involves handling assignments of varying complexity, ranging from basic problem-solving to leading small teams and assisting in the creation of sophisticated client strategies.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes business expertise to identify strategic options and determine the best approach for addressing client inquiries.
• Executes primary and secondary research, analyzing data to extract key insights and learnings.
• Drafts portions of reports, presentations, and workshop materials under the supervision of senior team leaders.
• Presents findings and recommendations to clients while supporting business development efforts and proposal writing.
• Operates independently or within a team, taking some responsibility for mentoring staff and developing their skills.
• Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to help define client issues and shape deliverables.
• Builds a deep understanding of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through active engagement in projects and learning opportunities.
• Acts as the day-to-day project manager, maintaining close contact with clients and leading recruitment and development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience.
• Previous work experience within the life sciences sector.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects.
• Strong adaptability and the capacity to rapidly acquire and apply new knowledge.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
