The company seeks a Business Development & Project Manager for Biologics in Switzerland to drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and coordinate project delivery within the life sciences sector.

This position serves as the main link between clients and Eurofins' scientific teams, combining sales expertise with project coordination. The role focuses on expanding the company's footprint in the Swiss biologics market by acquiring new business and nurturing strategic relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue and secure new clients within the Swiss biopharma and biotech sectors.
  • Identify and finalize deals for biologics and large molecule testing services.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with CDMOs, biotech firms, and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Guide client projects from initial inquiry through proposal, negotiation, and execution.
  • Align internal labs, project managers, and stakeholders to guarantee successful service delivery.
  • Expand existing accounts by spotting additional business needs.
  • Champion the client's interests internally to ensure high-quality service experiences.
  • Track market shifts, competitor actions, and industry trends in the Swiss life sciences landscape.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events.
  • Keep CRM data, sales forecasts, and business plans up to date.

Requirements

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in business development, sales, account management, or project coordination within pharma, biotech, CRO, CDMO, or lab services.
  • Solid knowledge of biologics, monoclonal antibodies, proteins, cell/gene therapies, or related BioPharma services.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong ability to manage projects and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with the capacity to build a sustainable business territory.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel across Switzerland (20%-40%).

  • Proficiency in French.
