Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Content and Communications Lead for a 6-month onsite role in Geneva. The position focuses on editorial production, project management, and strategic communications for intelligence and foresight initiatives.

This temporary position, lasting six months with an immediate start, operates at the crossroads of editorial production, project management, and strategic communications. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Digital Strategy & Growth within the Technology and Digital Innovation Group, playing a key role in shaping narratives around global futures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project management and delivery of a major Forum report that synthesizes diverse perspectives on future trends.
  • Oversee the editorial calendar, managing contributor submissions, review processes, and production schedules to ensure timely, high-quality output.
  • Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, narrative flow, and adherence to the Forum’s specific style guidelines.
  • Collaborate with design and internal teams to coordinate the production and publication of reports.
  • Create and edit various content formats, including articles, briefs, explainers, transcripts, and scripts for video or audio.
  • Develop and distribute communications materials, such as dynamic explainers and onboarding resources.
  • Assist in planning and implementing communications strategies across digital, social, internal, and press channels.
  • Facilitate engagement between the Strategic Intelligence and Foresight teams and internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A university degree in communications, journalism, international relations, political science, or a related discipline.
  • Five to seven years of professional experience in editorial content development, communications, publishing, or a similar field.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-contributor publications from initial concept through to final delivery.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex or technical topics for varied audiences.
  • Experience in designing and executing content dissemination and communications strategies across both digital and traditional platforms.
  • Full professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

  • An advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience working within international organizations, media outlets, think tanks, or consultancies.
  • Proficiency in languages other than English.
