Corporate Counsel(Manager/Sr. Manager)

Mirum Pharmaceuticals seeks a Corporate Counsel to advise on EU contracts, support international functions, and assist with CLM platform rollout. Role is based in Zug/Basel with hybrid work options.

This Corporate Counsel position acts as a strategic advisor to the international team, reporting directly to the Senior Director of EU Legal Counsel. The role supports daily operations across commercial, supply chain, quality, clinical, medical affairs, and compliance departments, focusing on drafting and reviewing agreements while handling general corporate and administrative legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide guidance on European commercial contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, clinical trial arrangements, and consultancy deals.
• Use tracking systems to monitor contract expiration and renewal dates, manage risk thresholds, and create reporting dashboards.
• Assist in implementing CLM platforms (such as Salesforce, DocuSign CLM, Agiloft, or Sirion) across various departments.
• Ensure the company meets EU corporate organizational standards and complies with local and international commercial and promotional regulations.
• Summarize legal findings, update the Senior Director on progress, and simplify complex legal concepts for business teams.
• Support EU affiliates, partners, and staff in public tenders and interactions with Regulatory Authorities across the EU and similar regions.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited EU law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in an in-house role or with a multi-country law firm.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience in a commercial stage pharmaceutical company or life sciences industry preferred.
• German proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Italian, French, or Spanish language skills are considered beneficial.
• Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
