Customer Analytics Officer

Cornèr Bank seeks a Customer Analytics Officer in Wallisellen to build predictive models, create BI dashboards, and manage customer data stewardship in a hybrid role requiring fluency in Italian, English, and German.

The company is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join its banking team. The position focuses on translating complex customer data into actionable insights, supporting marketing strategies through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing and digital teams to identify their data requirements for strategy development.
• Create customer behavioral profiles using demographic information, product usage patterns, and multi-channel interaction data.
• Build predictive models for customer responses and behaviors by applying machine learning techniques, statistical modeling, and feature engineering.
• Design automated data pipelines that extract information from various sources, prepare the data, and apply machine learning models.
• Construct Business Intelligence dashboards to monitor customer portfolio KPIs, digital adoption rates, and marketing campaign performance.
• Serve as the primary data steward for customer and touchpoint data, working with Information Management specialists to maintain data integrity and effective modeling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in data analysis, including multivariate statistical methods and forecasting models.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
• Strong command of Python and its scientific computing libraries, particularly pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Fluency in Italian, English, and German.

Nice to have

• Over two years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably within the financial sector.
• Familiarity with BigQuery.
• Experience with modern BI tools such as MS Power BI.
• Knowledge of IBM SPSS or comparable data analytics software.
