SGS seeks a Customer Care Coordinator in Baar, CH, to manage global product line operations and client support for mineral commodities inspection and laboratory services.
The company is looking for a professional to oversee the delivery of inspection and laboratory services for international clients within its Mineral Commodities division. This position involves coordinating global product line activities, handling client inquiries, liaising with affiliates worldwide, monitoring service progress, reviewing documentation, and supporting invoicing processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate global product line operations for clients.
- Address client inquiries regarding inspection and laboratory services while maintaining precise records.
- Collaborate with SGS affiliates globally and update clients on service progress.
- Analyze and verify inspection data for accuracy.
- Review reports and certificates from affiliates to ensure they meet client specifications.
- Ensure adherence to inspection protocols, business policies, and reporting standards.
- Coordinate billing procedures with affiliates and prepare client invoices.
- Maintain job files in compliance with internal control requirements.
- Support accounts receivable activities according to Group policy.
Requirements
- University degree in marine, technical, chemical, or commercial fields.
- At least three years of experience in back-office roles.
- Proven experience in client service and direct communication.
- Understanding of metals commodities trade inspections.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

- Experience with Oracle BOSS (Order Management module).
