Data Quality Engineer - Elastic (ATLAS)

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Data Quality Engineer for a contract role in Zürich. The position focuses on ensuring data integrity within a financial services environment using the ELK stack.

This contract position places a specialist within a financial services organization to safeguard data integrity. The engineer will apply deep technical knowledge of the ELK stack to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency across the client's data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee that data remains accurate, complete, and consistent across all connected systems.
• Create and enforce robust procedures to uphold strict data quality standards.
• Utilize Elasticsearch expertise to build, refine, and optimize search and retrieval functions within the data architecture.
• Apply industry best practices for indexing, query execution, and system performance tuning.
• Build and sustain reliable data pipelines.
• Engineer solutions for parsing incoming data.
• Create visual representations of data insights.
• Assist stakeholders with data consumption and the integration of new data sources.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Data Quality Engineer or in a closely related capacity.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and Ansible automation.
• Practical, hands-on background with the ELK stack, specifically constructing and mapping Logstash pipelines and working with Elasticsearch.
• Demonstrated ability to create data visualizations using Kibana.
• Fluent command of the English language.
