WinGD seeks a Senior Delivery Program Manager in Winterthur to oversee the global delivery portfolio, coordinating between Swiss headquarters and Asian regional teams while managing key European projects.
This position serves as the central hub for the delivery portfolio, maintaining a single source of truth for business planning. The role bridges Swiss back-office coordination with regional teams in Asia and may include direct project management responsibilities for European ship-owner and retrofit initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Gather and consolidate data from regional project managers into a unified project-management system.
- Maintain up-to-date schedules and plans, adjusting for timeline changes and highlighting any delays.
- Collaborate with engineering groups and external design partners to ensure the timely creation, review, and delivery of technical documentation and drawings.
- Manage European vendors and contractors regarding scope, deliverables, and lead times.
Requirements
- Extensive practical experience in shipyard project execution, including new builds, dry-docking, repairs, or retrofits.
- Proven ability to coordinate vendors, contractors, and technical drawing packages across complex projects.
- Strong background in technical project or portfolio management within marine, shipbuilding, or capital equipment sectors.
- Previous role as a technical superintendent or ship-repair manager with responsibility for multiple vessels or work packages.
- Solid understanding of marine energy or electrical systems.
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work effectively across different time zones and cultures, specifically between Switzerland and Asia.
- A university degree in a technical or marine field, or equivalent experience with a strong record of successful deliveries.
