Programme Manager – Global Tech

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a hands-on Programme Manager in Luzern to lead complex global tech implementations and bid processes. This senior hybrid role requires strong governance and stakeholder management skills.

This position serves as a hands-on Programme Manager responsible for driving complex technology implementations and leading strategic bidding efforts. The role focuses on strengthening governance across global projects and ensuring the timely delivery of highly regulated bids, rather than acting as a distant oversight position with a large support team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire bid lifecycle, including RFP/RFI handling and ensuring on-time submission for regulated opportunities.
• Direct multi-market implementation programmes involving product, engineering, commercial, finance, legal, and external partners.
• Develop and sustain structured governance frameworks, project plans, reporting mechanisms, and estimations.
• Align commercial and technical stakeholders while simplifying complex updates for senior leadership.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and cross-functional sessions to ensure clarity, alignment, and progress.
• Oversee risks, dependencies, and delivery confidence across large, multi-layered workstreams.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in large-scale programme delivery, such as ERP, digital platforms, or multi-tenant systems.
• Proven background in bid management or pre-sales for complex technology solutions.
• Experience working within highly regulated environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, storytelling, and documentation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in both waterfall and agile delivery environments.
• Strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and ability to drive progress in ambiguous environments.
• Comfortable with regular international travel.
• Excellent English proficiency is required.
• Hybrid setup with 1-2 days per week in Luzern (non-negotiable).
