Devops Engineer

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Mid-level DevOps Engineer in Zug, CH, to manage Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized microservices on-site.

The company is looking for a professional to lead and collaborate with development and operations teams. The primary goal is to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing.
• Orchestrate containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provision and manage resources through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.
• Keep DevOps processes current by adopting industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated background as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar capacity.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services and resource management.
• Skill in creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Strong grasp of microservices architecture principles.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience developing with C# and .NET.
• Ability to script using PowerShell or Bash.
• Fluent German and excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Azure certifications such as AZ-400 or AZ-104.
• Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools including Ansible or Chef.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
