DevOps Engineer

Deepjudge, a Swiss AI and ICT scale-up, seeks a Mid-level DevOps Engineer for an onsite role in Zurich. The position involves managing cloud and on-premise deployments, supporting sales with technical expertise, and collaborating with engineering and clients to deliver enterprise search and AI solutions.

The DevOps Engineer role at Deepjudge involves taking ownership from day one, working with a dedicated and passionate team focused on solving complex challenges in building the company’s AI-powered legal search product.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud and on-premise deployments, including setting up new environments and improving existing ones.
• Work with clients to understand technical needs, develop solutions for complex issues, and implement them with the engineering team.
• Plan and manage implementation projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Offer technical support during sales, including answering queries and helping complete security questionnaires.
• Help create technical documentation such as product manuals, FAQs, and integration guides.
• Keep up with industry trends, competitive developments, and new technologies in enterprise search and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical implementation, ideally in enterprise software, legal tech, search, document management, or AI-related fields.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration, Kubernetes, database administration, and/or software engineering.
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical topics to non-technical people.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Golang, or Java.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience building client relationships.
• Capacity to work independently and in teams, managing multiple tasks with precision.
