Director, Business Operations

Bjakcareer seeks a Director of Business Operations in Zürich to build operational infrastructure, lead cross-market execution, and manage a team of partners.

The company is looking for a Director of Business Operations to establish and maintain the operational backbone for its A1 initiative. This role focuses on driving execution across various markets, ensuring that strategic goals are met through efficient processes and strong team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct business operations across several international locations.
• Guide and mentor a group of Business Operations Partners.
• Handle office establishment, legal entity formation, and new market entries.
• Implement payroll systems and address local operational needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
• Assist with recruiting workflows, including recruiter onboarding and hiring support.
• Organize company events, offsites, and manage logistical details.
• Monitor key projects to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Refine existing processes to enhance speed and reliability.

Requirements

• Background in business operations, strategic operations, founder's office, or comparable fields.
• Proven track record of managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to juggle various priorities and deliver on commitments.
• Comfortable collaborating across recruiting, finance, legal, and administrative departments.
• Adept at identifying issues, making decisions, and executing tasks independently.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
