ELM Platform Engineer / Administrator

Stadler Bussnang AG seeks a Mid-level ELM Platform Engineer to administer and improve the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management toolchain in Wallisellen, CH.

This position is dedicated to managing the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) ecosystem, helping to define future mobility solutions through structured engineering processes within dedicated teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance configuration management workflows throughout the IBM ELM suite, including ERM, ETM, and EWM.
• Oversee ELM project setups, with a specific focus on Doors Next, user access controls, and Global Configuration.
• Act as the liaison between internal support tiers (levels 1 through 3) and external IBM support channels.
• Partner with engineering, quality assurance, and IT departments to ensure ELM tools align with operational goals and project demands.
• Empower development teams by providing training, guidance, and knowledge sharing on best practices for ELM tools.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on expertise with the IBM ELM Jazz platform.
• Strong background in Configuration Management, ideally within safety-critical or engineering-focused sectors.
• Solid grasp of requirements management and system development lifecycles, such as the V-model.
• Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse, international groups.
• A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude that thrives in collaborative settings.
