Embedded Software Engineer – e Bike Systems (80–100%)

The Systems Engineering team is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on next-generation e-bike platforms. This position centers on Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) and covers the entire product lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in building future e-bike systems within the Systems Engineering group
  • Create, deploy, and upkeep HMI firmware across all product stages
  • Build and sustain communication protocols that connect with wider system components, such as retailer tools and rider apps
  • Oversee the primary software repository alongside internal development teams
  • Investigate and resolve field-reported issues through root cause analysis
  • Develop and run automated unit and integration tests
  • Produce and update thorough design and technical documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience writing and debugging embedded software, including drivers, modules, and applications
  • Hands-on experience with Zephyr OS, Git, Make, CMake, C, Python, and Bash
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-based software development environment
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of CAN bus, BLE, and ANT+ protocols
  • Experience with PCB analysis
  • Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
