Engineering Manager - ERP

Perk Yokoy seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the ERP Integrations team, focusing on automating financial data flows and mentoring software engineers in a hybrid, IRL-first environment.

This position is responsible for guiding the ERP Integrations team, which connects Perk with customer financial systems. The role is central to achieving the company's goal of zero-touch finance by ensuring smooth, automated data exchange between Perk and various ERP landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful delivery of projects and the professional growth of team members.
• Adopt a servant leadership approach, adjusting management styles to fit the team's evolving needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support individual career paths.
• Serve as a technical advocate, ensuring the team has the necessary time and context to build systems that meet organizational standards.
• Facilitate collaboration and assist the team in overcoming challenges related to system architecture, design, or implementation.
• Create and refine the long-term strategy and roadmap for the team.
• Lead strategic planning and team building efforts to deliver highly available features.
• Manage the recruitment process and foster the growth of the engineering department.
• Utilize business and team metrics to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
• Share feedback with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and the broader business.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience managing software engineers.
• Experience managing around 8-10 software engineers.
• Technical background, ideally as a hands-on IC in software engineering.
• Experience managing larger teams and building processes/systems of delegation.
• Ability to act as a problem finder and solver technically and organisationally.
• Run effective performance reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with or strong interest in modern AI-augmented workflows and agentic skills.
