The International Committee of the Red Cross seeks a Mid-level Executive Assistant & Information Management Officer for its Geneva office. The role combines high-level administrative support for the Head of Delegation with robust information management duties.

This position plays a vital part in the daily operations of the Geneva Delegation by delivering executive assistance to the Head of Delegation and overseeing efficient information management workflows. The role ensures that strategic initiatives are supported and that the office functions smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the Head of Delegation, covering calendar management, travel logistics, document drafting, and meeting organization.
  • Handle sensitive data with strict adherence to security protocols and ICRC information management guidelines.
  • Help roll out and maintain information management systems, focusing on document classification, archiving, and retrieval processes.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to guarantee the timely exchange of information and accurate reporting.
  • Draft reports, presentations, and other necessary documentation as needed.
  • Keep the office well-organized by managing supplies and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

  • Hold a university degree or equivalent qualification in administration, information management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Possess at least three years of professional experience in executive support or information management.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Show a keen eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously while managing pressure.
  • Achieve fluency in both English and French, at written and spoken levels.

  • Knowledge of additional languages is considered a plus.
