SKAN AG seeks a Field Engineer in Dublin to maintain, calibrate, and qualify pharmaceutical systems, including isolators and filling lines, with regular travel across Ireland and Europe.
This position focuses on independent field service for SKAN systems at customer locations. The engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle support of equipment, ranging from older models to modern filling lines, ensuring they meet strict pharmaceutical standards through maintenance, calibration, and qualification tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on SKAN systems.
- Performing qualification, re-qualification, and inspection procedures for systems and products within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Creating GMP-compliant documentation for all test reports.
- Calibrating and adjusting various sensors.
- Executing filter integrity tests and ventilation qualification processes.
- Replacing components and providing troubleshooting and repair services for isolators.
Requirements
- A basic technical education or a higher technical degree in fields such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or polymechanics.
- Proven experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
- Very good proficiency in English.
- Residence in the Dublin area to accommodate travel requirements.

- Several years of experience in an international service engineering setting.
- Prior experience with isolator technology.
