Food Receiver / Storekeeper (m/f/d)

Badrutts Palace Hotel St. Moritz seeks a Food Receiver and Storekeeper for a seasonal role starting late 2026. The position involves managing inventory, inspecting deliveries, and supporting the purchasing team in St. Moritz.

This position sits within the Purchasing team, specifically supporting the Receiving and Stores operations. The primary purpose is to ensure that all incoming goods meet quality standards, are stored correctly, and that inventory levels are maintained efficiently to support hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes to confirm quality and compliance.
• Store received items according to established internal procedures.
• Check orders for completeness and communicate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies.
• Accurately and promptly process and record delivery documentation.
• Issue stock requisitions to various internal departments as needed.
• Systematically record all internal stock transfers related to store issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and independently place replenishment orders.
• Manage the receiving area, including the garage, storage rooms, empty containers, packaging, and general cleanliness.

Requirements

• Completion of vocational training as a Chef or Restaurant Professional.
• Prior experience in an administrative capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with the Kost software.
• Additional language skills in Italian or German.
