Forward Deployed Engineer Zürich

Ethonai, a leader in Industrial AI, seeks a Mid-level Forward Deployed Engineer in Zürich to help manufacturers optimize production through agentic workflows. The role involves on-site customer engagement, AI application in real-world settings, and product contributions, with hybrid work and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with technical staff at customer sites, including factories, to integrate their data and workflows with Ethonai’s software.
• Apply cutting-edge AI techniques in real-world industrial environments to drive customer adoption and demonstrate tangible value.
• Coordinate closely with Deployment Strategists and other Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure rapid and consistent delivery of value.
• Develop and contribute new features to the product to ensure customers can fully leverage the platform.
• Proactively share customer insights, pain points, and improvement opportunities with the product team to enhance the platform.

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Machine Learning.
• At least two years of experience solving complex real-world problems using software development and data science techniques.
• Fluency in Python.
• A proven ability to deliver significant impact and consistently go beyond standard expectations.
• Motivation to join a fast-paced, results-driven team.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL and AI/ML libraries.
• Knowledge of DevOps and deployment practices, both in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Background in customer-facing roles, particularly with enterprise clients.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or a related industrial sector.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
