Forward-Deployed Software Engineer

Hoshii AG seeks a Senior Forward-Deployed Software Engineer in Zürich to lead customer integrations, build AI solutions, and ensure operational success for their order management platform.

This position is part of the founding team responsible for developing the AI Coworker that powers operations teams' order desks. The engineer acts as the primary technical liaison for clients, adopting a 'you build it, you run it' mindset where the creator remains operationally accountable for the deployed systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions, both on-site and remotely, to map order-to-cash workflows and pinpoint operational challenges.
• Rapidly construct and demonstrate functional proofs of concept, refining them through direct collaboration with client stakeholders.
• Manage the complete deployment lifecycle, including integrating Hoshii agents with client ERP/CRM environments, configuring workflows, and launching solutions into production.
• Maintain ongoing accountability for live systems, monitoring performance and serving as the initial point of contact for any issues.
• Translate insights gained from field deployments into actionable updates for the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with channel partners to ensure the reliability of underlying integrations across all customer accounts.
• Develop clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in fullstack development and debugging, with a track record of shipping production-grade software.
• Proven ability to design, build, and operate end-to-end GenAI proofs of concept.
• Deep understanding of system integration, including APIs, data pipelines, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience engaging directly with customers for technical scoping, PoCs, or on-site deployments.
• Fluency in English and German at a C1 level or higher.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations throughout the DACH region.

• Prior exposure to ERP or CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Swiss German.
