Fraud Analyst Officer

Swissquote in Gland, CH, seeks a Mid-level Fraud Analyst Officer for its Anti-Fraud & Financial Crime Center. The role involves investigating suspicious transactions, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with card scheme rules. Candidates must have 3+ years in banking operations and strong communication and analytical skills in English and French.

This position is part of the Middle Office – Anti-Fraud & Financial Crime Center team, where the candidate will support fraud detection and dispute resolution. The role requires strong communication, organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal support teams to resolve customer dispute requests.
• Process dispute-related transactions using internal systems and Visa and MasterCard platforms.
• Review transaction monitoring alerts to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
• Investigate alerts and take prompt action, including reporting for compliance purposes.
• Handle cardholder issues and support dispute resolution processes.
• Respond to inquiries related to transactions.
• Keep detailed records of investigations and case outcomes.
• Stay current with card scheme rules and regulations relevant to fraud prevention.
• Suggest improvements to existing fraud detection strategies.
• Continuously develop product and job-related knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a banking operations role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to approach challenges creatively.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Capable of handling stress and working efficiently under high volume.
