The company seeks a Senior Officer to manage regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with frameworks like MiFID II, EMIR, and SFTR. The role focuses on data quality, process documentation, and stakeholder collaboration in a Luxembourg-based office.
This position plays a critical part in upholding the bank's regulatory compliance by overseeing the precise and punctual submission of mandatory reports. The role is designed to sustain a reliable reporting structure that adapts to changing legal standards and remains prepared for audits.
Responsibilities
- Submit mandatory regulatory filings, such as MIFIR, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR, AEOI, FATCA, CRS, CESOP, and CSSF 20/747, with precision and on schedule.
- Manage the complete reporting lifecycle, covering initial submission, necessary corrections, and ensuring readiness for audits.
- Partner with internal departments like Compliance, IT, and Operations to address and fix data quality problems at their origin.
- Track changes in regulations and assist in applying necessary updates to reporting procedures.
- Conduct data reviews and root cause analysis to detect, evaluate, and fix discrepancies.
- Keep detailed records of all reporting workflows and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in regulatory reporting or compliance roles within the banking or financial sector.
- Deep understanding of EU regulatory frameworks, especially MiFID II, along with practical knowledge of MIFIR, EMIR, SFTR, AEOI, FATCA, and CRS reporting.
- Proven ability to adjust reporting workflows to meet new regulatory demands.
- Experience in creating and maintaining clear documentation for processes and procedures.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to organize personal workload effectively while managing multiple deadlines.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with data extraction and analysis tools, such as SQL, is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in French is advantageous.
