The company seeks a Senior Consultant for its Tax Financial Services team in Geneva. The role involves advising financial institutions on complex tax matters, regulatory compliance, and optimizing business structures within domestic and international environments.

This position allows professionals to join a specialized Tax Services team handling intricate tax challenges across various jurisdictions. The role focuses on advising major financial institutions to refine their business and legal frameworks while strengthening the practice in Geneva through collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in interpreting and applying regulatory and operational tax principles, especially regarding transparency frameworks like FATCA, QI, and automatic information exchange.
  • Manage tax reporting duties, review client documentation, apply calculation rules, classify securities, and support operational tax functions for regulators and clients.
  • Develop comprehensive solutions by collaborating with internal teams across Legal, Audit, and Consulting, as well as international colleagues in other jurisdictions.
  • Participate in client secondments and on-site assignments regularly.
  • Enjoy international exposure with opportunities to work across different countries and language regions.

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized diploma in law, economics, finance, or an equivalent federal, bachelor's, or master's degree.
  • Demonstrate excellent proficiency in both French and English.
  • Exhibit fast learning capabilities, strong analytical and numerical skills, adaptability, flexibility, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Maintain an agile, growth-oriented mindset that embraces innovation and keeps pace with a rapidly changing environment.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with tax transparency topics such as FATCA, QI, and CRS.
  • Prior experience in Swiss and international tax law within a consulting firm or financial institution.
  • Proficiency in German and/or Italian.
