Tax Consultant role at Grant Thornton Switzerland in Geneva, supporting clients with tax compliance and authority interactions within a hybrid work model.
This position supports the Geneva office as part of a global network of independent audit, tax, and consulting firms. The role is integrated into the Grant Thornton Advisors group, a multinational platform established by Grant Thornton in the US.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns for individuals and corporations while maintaining direct client communication
- Interact directly with tax authorities and verify tax assessments
- Assist Managers in drafting responses to tax authority requests
- Occasionally support Managers with consulting tasks
- Collaborate closely with Managers to ensure high-quality and timely work
Requirements
- Completed initial training and 1-2 years of experience in a tax environment (tax compliance)
- Analytical thinking and quality-oriented, structured way of working
- Appreciate exchange with clients and establish yourself as the primary contact person for tax return questions
- Team-oriented, open personality
