Senior Associate - Tax Consultant

PwC in Geneva seeks a Senior Associate - Tax Consultant to advise multinational clients on complex cross-border tax matters, compliance, and structuring within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This role involves advising multinational and corporate clients on optimizing their tax positions while handling complex cross-border engagements. The position requires collaborating with experts across tax, legal, and consulting disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Responsibilities

• Advise multinational and corporate clients on tax optimization strategies and compliance.
• Conduct tax due diligence, audits, and manage tax controversy matters, including interactions with tax authorities.
• Support complex cross-border projects such as structuring, acquisitions, and reorganizations in multi-jurisdictional settings.
• Analyze legal frameworks, financial data, and case law to provide practical, tax-efficient solutions.
• Coordinate closely with colleagues across different jurisdictions to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in tax advisory, preferably within a Big4 or professional services firm.
• Strong background in corporate tax, tax structuring, and tax compliance.
• Experience working on multi-jurisdictional projects or international tax topics.
• Solid understanding of legal frameworks and financial statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on complex tax matters with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in client-facing roles and delivering high-quality outputs.
• Team-oriented, with proven collaboration across functions and geographies.
• Currently pursuing or holding a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA) or advanced degree in tax or law.
