Senior Consultant, Financial Advisory

Teneo AG seeks a Senior Consultant for its Financial Advisory team in Switzerland. The role focuses on insolvency, restructuring, and liquidation engagements, requiring professional expertise and commercial awareness to deliver client outcomes.

This position serves as a core member of the advisory team, handling daily operations related to insolvency, restructuring, and liquidation cases. The consultant applies commercial insight and specialized knowledge to guide clients through financial stress, ensuring strategies align with regulatory standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily tasks for insolvency, restructuring, and liquidation projects.
• Utilize expertise in insolvency laws to shape case strategies and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate on international assignments within the International Financial Centers network.
• Provide operational assistance to senior leadership.
• Deliver high-quality client materials on schedule.
• Help senior management foster an inclusive workplace culture.
• Contribute to business development efforts and marketing campaigns.
• Draft research papers, proposals, and client-facing documents.
• Develop client relationship management abilities, technical skills, and industry knowledge.
• Stay informed about market trends, current issues, and restructuring strategies.

Requirements

• Hold an undergraduate degree.
• Possess at least two years of experience in audit, insolvency, or financial advisory within a professional services or advisory firm.

Nice to have

• Hold a recognized professional accounting designation (such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA) or an insolvency qualification (such as CPI, JIEB).
