Full-Stack Engineer

Latticeflow, an ETH Zurich spin-off, seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Zürich to build its AI governance platform. The role involves developing core infrastructure and product features, with a focus on scalability, security, and compliance.

Latticeflow AI is an evidence-based platform for managing AI risk at scale, developed by leading researchers from ETH Zurich. The company combines technical rigor with practical governance workflows to ensure AI systems are secure, reliable, and compliant. This role is central to building the core platform that enables enterprise AI risk assessment and monitoring, including co-developing COMPL-AI, the first technical EU AI Act compliance framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop original solutions for novel challenges while building a zero-to-one platform from the ground up.
• Design and implement full-stack features, including front-end interfaces, backend services, and connecting APIs and integrations.
• Rapidly prototype and refine features, incorporating feedback and adapting to evolving product needs.
• Enhance existing code, tools, and development processes to boost team efficiency and delivery speed.
• Participate in architectural decisions and help guide the evolution of both frontend and backend technologies.
• Work with product and other teams to turn requirements into secure, scalable, and robust technical implementations.

Requirements

• Solid programming skills in an object-oriented language, with Python being preferred.
• Experience using modern frontend frameworks such as React, along with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Ability to work across the entire stack and solve problems in ambiguous environments by providing clear, creative solutions.
• Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a startup mindset—able to take ownership, act independently, and deliver quickly without sacrificing code quality.
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across different functions.
• Curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
• Willing and able to work onsite in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or large language model fundamentals is beneficial.
