Kuehne + Nagel seeks a Senior Global Insurance Program Manager for Employee Benefits in Schindellegi, CH. This role designs and manages global insurance programs across 100+ countries, directly impacting the employee experience worldwide.
This position plays a central part in developing modern employee benefits insurance solutions on a worldwide scale. The specialist designs and oversees global insurance programs spanning more than 100 nations, ensuring that their efforts go beyond routine administration to meaningfully enhance the overall people experience at Kuehne + Nagel.
Responsibilities
- Oversee global insurance programs from start to finish, including design, placement, renewals, and client servicing.
- Develop and drive global employee benefits strategies covering health, life, disability, and pension, aligned with business priorities.
- Lead renewal negotiations with insurers, coordinate policy implementation, and foster long-term partnerships to achieve optimal coverage and financial efficiency.
- Establish and maintain robust governance and compliance frameworks that align with local regulations and internal standards.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with insurers, partners, and internal stakeholders across the organization.
- Deliver presentations, training sessions, and support strategic projects.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, including support to non-life global insurance programs where relevant.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation through participation in key projects and transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in insurance, finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in employee benefits broking or consulting, preferably with international exposure.
- Strong knowledge of global employee benefits structures, international program management, and market best practices.
- Proven negotiation, stakeholder, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent English.
