Roche seeks a Global Patient Partnership Leader to drive strategic communications, standardize operational excellence, and ensure the patient voice is central to its global medical affairs initiatives.
This strategic position sits within the Global Patient Network team under Product Development Medical Affairs. The role is responsible for elevating the GPN brand, professionalizing operational standards, and acting as the primary architect for global communications. It ensures that patient perspectives are effectively integrated across the organization through standardized training, onboarding, and procedural rigor.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global strategy for Patient Partnership congresses, including content creation and speaker preparation, while leading the Global Patient Week event.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the For Patients, Emerald, and WebXO digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the Global Patient Network and World Patient Network to produce high-impact content for the Annual Report and maintain the core messaging framework.
- Create and roll out the GPN Training Program, providing oversight for global onboarding processes.
- Manage the PP Hub and lead the regular update and maintenance of Global Patient Network Standard Operating Procedures.
- Guide local affiliates to ensure their activities align with global functional narratives and operational standards.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in strategic communications or organizational excellence within a complex, global matrixed environment.
- Strong capability in building narratives, developing message houses, and creating executive-level content.
- Demonstrated experience in designing global training initiatives and managing complex operational frameworks, including SOPs and onboarding.
- Proven track record in large-scale event strategy and digital platform management.
- Ability to partner with diverse stakeholders across GPN, WPN, and local affiliates to drive alignment.
- Skill in navigating organizational complexity to influence others without direct authority and build trust.
- Native or near-native proficiency in professional business English.
- Flexibility to accommodate global time zones with minimal travel requirements (10-15%).
